SCOPE
Aluminium silicate ropes are used as a sealing material for parts of plant and machinery operating at temperatures up to 1260 °C. The material has no flammable components and is resistant to water, vapours, oils and dry gases with a pH between 5 and 9.
USES
For sealing boilers, coal mills, industrial furnaces, furnace doors, dampers, covers, heat pipe insulation and other applications.
