Medium cement refractory cast-in-place concrete (MCC) is characterised by bonding with a cement content of 5-15 %. In terms of properties and workability, this cement occupies an intermediate position between conventional and low-cement refractory mortars.

This concrete is most suitable for use in industrial structures operating at high temperatures. It is used for the internal lining of refractory structures such as stoves, furnaces, boilers burning biofuels.
