Heat-resistant concrete

Low cement refractory cast-in-place concrete (LCC) with an extremely low cement content (3 to 10%) required to achieve bond. This makes it more demanding than, for example, conventional concretes, but when properly lined, it has better properties: higher temperature resistance, lower porosity, resistance to corrosion, abrasion and thermal loads.

Medium cement refractory cast-in-place concrete (MCC) is characterised by bonding with a cement content of 5-15 %. In terms of properties and workability, they occupy an intermediate position between conventional and low cement refractories.

These mixes are valued by professionals for their good properties, which are already achieved at low temperatures (even before the plant is started up), and for their better workability compared to low-cement or no-cement systems.
