An unrivalled, extremely heat-resistant cement mortar, dark grey in colour. This mortar is specially formulated for all types of chamotte refractory bricks and insulating bricks and is ideal for bonding calcium silicate and vermiculite panels. It can also be used for bricks with the highest durability and high alumina content, which are used at temperatures up to 1650 ˚C. Fully set in 48 hours according to the manufacturer’s recommendations, but at a constant temperature of 150 ˚C it is fully set after 4 hours.

“Thermal Ceramics Apply a heat-resistant cement mortar made from crushed minerals and special bonding agents. This mortar has excellent air drying properties. Strong bonds are formed, making the brickwork structure almost monolithic.
The mortar shall be of a consistency suitable for surface filling or plastering. In the event of a thicker consistency, it is recommended to dilute the mortar with a maximum of 5 % potable water by volume. Suitable for use up to 1650 °C.
