INSOFT is made of formaldehyde-urea-melamine polycondensates and is designed for urea conditioning: it effectively prevents urea granules from sticking together during storage, dusting at workstations during the production process, increases the amount of urea administered by trapping dust and increases the static durability of urea granules.
Technical data:
- free formaldehyde content: less than 3%
- density at 20 °C: 1,2 – 1,3 g/cm3
- Viscosity at 20 °C: 50 – 300 mPas
- pH: 7,5 – 9,5
- dry matter content: 50 to 55 %
- free of mechanical dirt
- ability to bind urea liquids
- complete protection of urea against sticking
- Shelf life: 6 months
- Minimum storage temperature: -5 °C (curing temperature)
- the preparation regains the required parameters when warmed to temperatures above – 5 °C
- Consumption 1,2 – 1,5 kg/tonne
- Recommended use 1.3 kg/tonne
Quality guarantee:
1. The use of the recommended amount of INSOFT, evenly applied to the granules, will ensure effective reduction of the urea dust release to below the maximum permitted concentration and will effectively reduce the sticking of the fertiliser.
2. The application of INSOFT will not impair the physico-mechanical properties of urea.
The Łukasiewicz Centre is the main institution coordinating the Łukasiewicz Research Network (Polish: Sieć Badawcza Łukasiewicz), which is one of the largest research organizations in Europe and the largest such network in Poland. It brings together 32 research institutes throughout the country, which employ about 4,500 scientists and engineers.
🔬 Main areas of activity
Łukasiewicz Centre ir jam priklausantys institutai orientuojasi į keturias strategines tyrimų kryptis:
- Smart and clean mobility – developing new transportation and infrastructure solutions;
- Digital transformation – research in artificial intelligence, robotics, photonics, and data science;
- Health – biomedical engineering, diagnostics, therapies development and pharmaceutical technologies;
- A green and low-carbon economy – sustainable energy and environmental solutions.
🤝 Cooperation with business
One of the distinctive features of the Łukasiewicz Center is the "Łukasiewicz Challenge System" This free service, designed for businesses, which within 15 business days receive proposals from scientists regarding technological problems solutions. This system enables the rapid and effective translation of research into business practice.
🧪 Infrastructure and resources
The network comprises more than 4,000 research facilities and services, including 440 laboratories, many of which are unique at the national level. This provides the opportunity to conduct high-quality research in various fields.
