PAROC stone wool products are resistant to high temperatures. The binder used in stone wool products starts to evaporate at around 200°C. The thermal insulation properties remain unchanged, but the compressive strength decreases. It is only after a temperature of 1000°C that stone wool products start to soften.
- Thermal conductivity: 0,035 W/mK
- Can withstand up to +550°C
- Nominal density: 80 kg/m³
