The adhesive is used to bond Skamol calcium silicate boards to properly prepared mineral substrates, such as masonry and concrete, as well as for bonding the edges of the boards together

The product is ideal for the installation of fireplaces, stoves, and other constructions where Skamol calcium silicate boards are used.

Key Benefits

  • Specially developed for Skamol calcium silicate boards
  • Suitable for bonding calcium silicate boards to walls
  • Can be used for bonding board edges together
  • Ensures strong adhesion of the boards to a properly prepared substrate
  • Easy to apply with a notched trowel
  • One 20 kg bag covers approximately 2.5 m² when applied at an 8 mm thickness

Application

Before bonding, the substrate must be properly prepared, clean, and free from dust. Use clean tools for the application.

One 20 kg bag of Skamol Adhesive should be mixed with approximately 4.8–5.4 litres of clean water until a smooth, uniform consistency suitable for application is achieved.
